We shred more than just cheese

I like shredding. It helps protect against identity theft. And I must admit it’s kind of fun. But it also takes a lot of time (esp if you have a 4-page-at-a-time shredder and hundreds of credit card solicitations). Well, Let’s Dish! is all about saving you time (and money), so I am proud to help bring you “Shred It”, a free shredding event that, yes, will save you time and money.

One of our friends and customers, Michael Fein, Managing Partner of CIC Wealth Management Group, recently announced his second event with Shred It, the big paper shredding company. It’s a great deal– Shred It brings one of their big industrial strength shredders to Michael’s company’s parking lot and shreds whatever you bring them! No mess, no hassle, you just hand them your stuff and they take care of the rest. I’ve been building up my pile of shredding for months now in anticipation.

As a co-sponsor of this event, I’d like to invite any of our Let’s Dish! customers in the greater Baltimore County area to join us for some good ol’ shredding.

Trash-Free lunches: A fresh take on packing school lunches

In this day and age, thinking “green” has transitioned from a “fresh idea” to a social responsibility. At Let’s Dish!, we do all we can to be “green” in our stores while facing some challenges that are common to small businesses and the food industry alike; our team will share more in future posts about how we can collectively work to be more eco-friendly while dishing and cooking in your home. Today Let’s Dish! introduces “Dish Green,” a new blog category that will discuss how you can become more eco-friendly in your life.
